Day 15 - Iguazu - Lima

A leisurely start this morning. Bags to be packed by 11.15 and leaving at 11.45. A nice chance to have a bit of a sleep in.

We stopped at the usual last chance tourist place to see if we wanted to buy any souvenirs. Nah! Stopped for lunch and yet another delicious buffet. there were a lot more people in this restaurant than we have had in the past. We then went it Iguazu Falls to view them from the Brazil side of the border. Just as amazing as yesterday. The views were fantastic and the walkway out over the rivers was an experience. The photos just don't do it justice.

We stopped at the Cataratas Hotel for anyone who wanted to change into dry clothes. I was nearly dry by then. Then we had a final Caipirinha as a farewell drink for our tour leader, Mariana. We will miss her as she has been a fantastic leader and just one of the group. We knew she would be a great tour leader when she offered us our first Pisco Sour at our first meal. When she picked up the camera and took just as many photos as we did. When she lead the way to the desserts at dinner. And of course, when she started arranging photos of Gazza and Kylie, our tour mascots. We hope she will be able to make it out to Australia one day. She will always have somewhere to stay.
